Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsor
The giveaway is sponsored by Genie of Fairview Door Co. (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who own a residential property located within Genie of Fairview’s eligible installation/service area.
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and immediate family or household members of Sponsor and its affiliated companies, agencies, and vendors involved in administering the giveaway are not eligible to participate.
3. Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on 09/30/26 and ends on 10/31/2026 (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
Eligible participants may enter by completing and submitting the official giveaway entry form during the Giveaway Period.
Limit one (1) entry per person unless otherwise stated by Sponsor. No purchase or payment is required to enter.
5. Prize
One (1) eligible winner will receive a garage door and garage door opener package, including standard professional installation, with an approximate retail value of up to $3,500
Minimum entry requirement: The prize will be awarded only if at least fifty (50) eligible entries are received during the Giveaway Period. If fewer than fifty (50) eligible entries are received, Sponsor may cancel the giveaway and no prize will be awarded.
The specific garage door, opener, equipment, materials, colors, styles, sizes, and installation services included in the prize are subject to availability and Sponsor’s approved prize package.
Unless specifically included by Sponsor, the prize does not include non-standard construction, framing, electrical work, structural modifications, permits, painting, custom finishes, specialty hardware, repairs, or other work required to make the winner’s property suitable for installation.
Sponsor may conduct a site inspection before installation to verify that the property is eligible and suitable for the prize.
The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
The potential winner will be contacted using the phone number and/or email address provided with their entry. The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of the initial notification.
If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot satisfy the installation requirements, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
7. Installation Requirements
The winner must own the property where the garage door and opener will be installed, and the property must be located within Sponsor’s eligible installation area.
Installation is subject to an inspection of the property and confirmation that standard installation is reasonably possible. Additional work or materials outside the included prize package may be the responsibility of the winner and will not be performed without the winner’s approval.
Installation timing will be coordinated between Sponsor and the winner and is subject to product, installer, and scheduling availability.
8. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or other expenses associated with accepting the prize that are not expressly included in these Official Rules.
9. Marketing Communications
Entering the giveaway does not require an entrant to consent to receive marketing communications.
If an entrant separately elects to receive marketing communications, the entrant agrees that Genie of Fairview and/or its designated service providers may contact them at the information provided regarding products, services, promotions, and offers, subject to applicable law and the terms of the consent provided on the entry form.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of entry or purchase and does not affect an entrant’s chances of winning.
10. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s first name, city, likeness, photograph, and/or images of the completed installation for promotional purposes without additional compensation, subject to applicable law.
11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to tamper with the entry process, submits fraudulent or inaccurate information, violates these Official Rules, or otherwise interferes with the fair administration of the giveaway.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, events beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, or other circumstances materially affect the integrity or proper administration of the giveaway.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor regarding the giveaway.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor and its affiliated companies, employees, representatives, agencies, and vendors will not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or otherwise unsuccessful entries; technical or communications failures; or injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or installation of the prize, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
14. Governing Law
The giveaway and these Official Rules will be governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
